“Once in a lifetime is enough if you don’t land anywhere on the way.”
It is around this essential question — who am I? — that every satsang conducted by Ganga Mira unfolds. Moksha, liberation, not as something to be attained or achieved, but as the recognition of what already is.
We live in a time when non-duality has become widely known. There are increasingly more satsangs, teachings and people speaking about Vedānta. And yet, it remains rare to encounter someone capable of holding a clear vision and, above all, of communicating it with the precision and depth of a true master.
It is precisely this clarity that we recognise in Ganga. For us, she is not simply another person conducting satsangs within a format that has become widely familiar. Her presence and the way she points to reality have a very particular quality. As she herself says, in such a simple and radical way: “there is no teaching.”
It is not, therefore, about adding more knowledge, offering ready-made answers, or constructing another idea about who we are. It is about looking directly at what is here, at that which cannot be denied.
Ganga can be disconcerting or provocative, deeply tender or absolutely assertive. She does not seek to please or defend a position. Her only commitment is to reality and to the possibility of each person recognising it for themselves.
With an extraordinary capacity for listening and for individual communication, she knows how to meet each person exactly where they are and, from there, make a precise indication. Sometimes, a single question or observation is enough to reveal that what was being sought was being sought in the wrong place.
For us, her indications have been of immeasurable value. Accompanying our own process of nididhyāsana, the deep contemplation of what has been recognised, Ganga has been a true Master.
It is with great joy that we welcome this cycle of satsangs to our school and open this space for a living investigation into Moksha — liberation.
An invitation to question and to look directly at what we are.
About Ganga
After a childhood spent in freedom in the Belgian Congo and a return to her native country, Belgium, where she studied Art History, Ganga’s life took an irreversible path in search of answers when she came across Socrates’ words: “Know thyself.”
In 1968, alone in India, where she had travelled in search of a living Socrates, she met her master Papaji, a disciple of Ramana Maharishi.
